A lovely July Wedding at The Hove Club in Brighton by Brighton wedding photographer Alison Buchanan
Rhian and Cian were married at St Joseph’s church, Brighton and then held their receptions at the Hove Club in July last year – a great mix of the Scottish and Irish families. A lovely Scottish grace (it took me back to my childhood when my grandad said it to us at every family occasion!) before the wedding breakfast and the groom’s family had travelled from Cork in Ireland to help these two celebrate their marriage. The sun shone which meant that guests could make the most of the gardens at the Hove Club and a big thank you to all the staff there who made us so welcome.
It was a beautiful morning and the view from Cian’s room was over a glittering sea to Brighton pier as she got ready with the help of her bridesmaids and parents –
Whilst all their family and friends travelled from the church to the reception we took a little detour for a few photos on the sea front – most Brighton Wedding photographers head for the bandstand but there was a queue (!) and so we headed a little further up the seafront and parked up – and Cian and Rhian received lots of congratulations from passers by as their driver produced a bottle of champagne for their wedding toast.
By the time we arrived at the Hove Club most of their guests were there and they joined them in the gardens for champagne and canapés. Great for the children to let off steam and they just managed to avoid getting into the fountain!
As I left the party was in full swing….. congratulations Mr and Mrs Cronin!
