Jim and Sarah’s wonderful South Farm Wedding.
Jim and Sarah’s at South Farm Wedding was on a beautiful spring day early in March.
This was the first time I had photographed there so we decided to meet up at the venue for their pre wedding shoot. The appointed afternoon arrived and as it was so wet and windy we decided to have a good look round this amazing venue and postpone their pre wedding shoot until another day. South Farm Wedding parties are given the use of the house and it is a bit like having your wedding at a rather lovely home – very informal, but also with all the character of the gypsy caravans, the animals wandering around, and lovely gardens, not to mention the cosy kitchen where we settled down with a hot cup of coffee to discuss their plans.
The weather was completely different for their wedding, and guests were able to enjoy the grounds of this great venue. The crocuses and daffodils were out and it was a beautiful spring day. Sarah had a lovely light room for getting ready and it was a very relaxed atmosphere, whilst the boys arrived very much on time downstairs for a few photos before the day began.
Their ceremony was held in the beautifully decorated barn, before heading out into the courtyard through a haze of confetti for some photographs, drinks and delicious canapés.
Whilst everyone enjoyed themselves in the lovely March sunshine, the staff re-arranged the barn for their Wedding Breakfast ….
We slipped out for a quick night photo before I left them partying into the night with one of the best bands I have heard. What a great day. Congratulations Jim and Sarah!
