Kent Wedding Photographer

I class myself as a Kent wedding photographer, as I am based very close to the East Sussex/Kent border and so much of my wedding photography takes place in both of theses counties.   My particular style of wedding photography is using natural light which creates contemporary, relaxed and fun images.  I love working in beautiful surroundings….and there are certainly lots of those in Kent!

Kent wedding photographerFrom the outskirts of London, down to the South coast there are some amazing venues; castles, grand houses, barns or even a marquee in your back garden.

Take Chiddingstone Castle , for instance, a castle that can be traced back to the early 1500s and has been occupied on and off by some wonderful characters. Now owned by the National Trust, as is much of Chiddingstone and is open to the public, a really popular wedding venue due to it’s beauty, tranquility and stunning views.

Or how about the grade 1 listed Chilstone Park, over near Maidstone, which is the sister hotel of Buxted Park hotel, on my doorstep. Set off the road in 22 acres of parkland, featuring a 2 rosette restaurant. This wonderful wedding venue has been owned by Lords, Viscounts & politicians over the years and is now a classic British country house hotel.

Or would you like to hold your wedding in a special intimate castle? Then grade 1 listed Lympne Castle  is your venue! With some parts dating back to the 13th century, witnessing invasion by the Danes and Normans, this castle has certainly seen some history. With stunning  views over the south coast and even France on a clear day.

If you are up in Rochester, then Cooling Castle Barn makes a lovely location for your wedding. This popular wedding venue has a choice of three barns, also with 15 luxury bedrooms in the adjacent stables, making it perfect for involving your guests in the whole experience of your wedding.

I have also taken wedding photographs at the regal Eastwell Manor, for yet another stunning Kent wedding venue. Based over in Ashford, it is a popular wedding venue with  beautiful gardens looking out over the golf course, especially as, even though it is in the depths of the Kent countryside, it is easily accessible for guests.

And then we come back to Tunbridge Wells, still in Kent but closer to home for me! I love being a Kent wedding photographer at the Hotel du Vin,  as well as at High Rocks, both beautiful wedding venues.

If you are looking for a Sussex or Kent wedding photographer then please do get in touch. as I love to talk wedding photography!  As many of my bookings now come from referrals I find myself in and around these lovely Kent wedding venues a lot.  Don’t forget I include Pre-wedding photography in most of my packages, which makes things so much easier and relaxed on your wedding day. You also get some stunning photographs of  you in a natural and outdoor setting.
