I will be exhibiting at Photo London at its new venue at Hoxton Arches, Cremer St, London E2 8HD, open to the public from Thursday 14th November to Sunday 17th November - 11am to 6pm. I am delighted to be exhibiting alongside so many exceptional photographers and will be showing work from my Vanishing Landscape series.
The Vanishing Landscape project was inspired by the prospect of thousands of houses being built on agricultural land near her home in East Sussex. It is about the conflict between man and the environment, the struggle to provide homes but also to preserve the countryside for future generations.
When threatened with losing something we suddenly appreciate it more and look at it with new eyes, so this is also a celebration of the countryside, of the beauty of nature that so often we pass by without really seeing. Inspired by the fields and ancient woodland around which are under threat of disappearing under concrete.
